Toddy B's 5th Annual Labor Day Bash

Anyone familiar with the club scene in Austin will immediately recognize the name Toddy B. The house music guru has been gracing the decks of some the hottest dance clubs in the city for nearly a decade, and has taken home multiple awards for “Best Club DJ” by the Austin Chronicle. Toddy B is also part of the local Austin radio show “Hypersonic Radio” with Jason Jenkins every Saturday night on Austin’s own 101X, shedding light on what’s new and good in the clubs around town. As an in-demand DJ, Todd has had the pleasure of opening for the likes of Derrick Carter, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs as well as Sharam from Deep Dish.

“What makes Austin Music Award-winner Toddy B more than just a DJ? He doesn’t just play at a party; he is the party, understanding that the success of an evening at a club or party is essentially in his hands. He’s not just a master behind the turntables but a master emcee as well, whipping the crowds into frenzies with his energy and skill.”

A couple of Toddy B’s most popular residencies take place at The Firehouse Lounge and Lanai, though one of the DJ’s longest-running events is his annual Labor Day bash. Now in its 5th year, the 2010 edition of the party will take place on Sunday, September 5th at Speakeasy‘s rooftop lounge, aka Terrace 59. Offering a beautiful view of downtown, the covered Terrace 59 provides a dance spot with a great ambiance, but also a place to take it easy with friends around candle-lit tables. If that sounds like your kind of party, be sure to click “I Like It” on the Do512 event listing for your chance to win a FREE Bottle & VIP Table next Saturday!
