La Grange rappers and brothers, Brandon and LaBaaron Hutchinson, were sentenced to 20 years in prison by a Travis County jury today for shooting into a crowd of people after a rap concert on Red River last year. The brothers are (or should I say were) members of the rap group LG Allstarz. The shooting happened after the brothers Hutchinson were involved in an altercation inside Spiros on May 29, 2009. After the bouncers cleared the club, the Hutchinsons returned and opened fire at a crowd standing near the door. According to APD, 8 people were shot but thankfully nobody died.
However, they were only charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault, meaning they still face charges in the other 6 shootings.
