The Mexic-Arte Museum is holding its 27th Annual Dia de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, October 23rd from 2-10pm. Viva la Vida Fest is a celebration of life and our environment through art and culture, using the traditions of Dia de los Muertos. The festival features a grand procession at 6pm followed by a costume contest and street festival alive with cultural music, food, art, activities, and performances.
Indulge your craving for authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine and enjoy a variety of beer, aguas frescas, and Mexican paletas. Complete with artist demos, hands-on art activities for you and your children, live music with dance performances, and larger-than-life props (if you’ve never been to an authentic Dia de los Muertos celebration, you’re in for a theatrical treat), this festival promises to be awe-inspiring, fun (and free!) for all ages.
