Merry Merry Martini Mixer

It’s the beginning of another new year, 2011, the big one, meaning another attempt at that new year’s resolution to be a better you, to do good things. So maybe last year didn’t work out exactly as planned, perhaps you got sidetracked with your heavy workload or new iPad, yeah, we know you. Now’s the time for a fresh start. Allow Equality Texas to give you the opportunity to make your first contribution of the year. January 29, get to the Merry Merry Martini Mixer for the martinis a worthy cause and stay for the conversation and fun. And for more martinis. In addition to the complimentary cocktails, there will be gourmet samplings from some of Austin’s finest chefs as well as great music to keep you merry merry throughout the night.

For 20 years, Equality Texas has been educating Texans on LGBT policies and has taken leaps and bounds as the only nonpartisan statewide political advocacy organization lobbying for the elimination of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. They tackle issues we can all support, such as eliminating bullying and harassment, tolerance and equality among all people.
