Have you ever had the urge to throw your boss off a 32 story building? I mean, who hasn’t right? Well we’re no different here at the Do512 offices. It’s not as bad as it sounds though. We’re currently raising money to push Do512 head honcho Jimmy Stewart (along with Do512’s GM, Kristin Owen) off the top of the One American Center, all for a great cause.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and South Texas helps grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. It costs a lot of money to make that happen though, typically $5,000 to $6,000 per wish, so in an effort to maximize their impact they have enlisted the community to participate in their Over the Edge campaign.
The children affected by these life-threatening conditions depend on courage to overcome obstacles every day, and now Make-A-Wish is challenging us to face our fears and step off the ledge. We need to raise a minimum of $1,500 for the organization if we want to earn Jimmy a spot to rappel down 32 stories of One American Center in downtown Austin. Frankly, we hope to raise much, much more.
Remember all those free drinks, awesome bands, and good times we’ve given you over the years? Here’s your chance to give back and help us meet our goal. Sponsor Do512’s team today and help grant a wish to a deserving child. Donations can be made HERE. Thank you in advance for your consideration, time, and donation!
