Mustard Pimp at the Belmont

It’s the first official month of summer and a Friday night–you might be burnt out from a week of scrounging for rent money and we sympathize–but don’t dare go near those sweatpants. Doing so is certain weekend death. Gaining the right momentum on a Friday night is a good indicator of what the rest of the weekend will bring, and the state of your weekdend is crucial to the future of your summer. So if you don’t want to lame yourself up with a leftover-pizza-and-couch session for three consecutive days we recommend you head to the Belmont, where Mustard Pimp will be playing.

Mustard Pimp? Mustard Pimp. Say it. It’s fun. Mustard Pimp is a French electro production/remix duo with racy, fast paced dance tracks that’ll get you off your ass and ready to party the weekend away. Seriously, racy. Listening to them harkens the mood to speed down the freeway in a frenzy. While we don’t condone reckless driving here at Do512, we do condone a fun Friday night of dancing.

Signed to Dim Mak, among the remixes they’ve done are some from Stereoheroes, Dada Life, Atari Teenage Riot, and Will Smith (yep that one). Check out a track below:

Mustard Pimp plays on June 15 at the Belmont. Doors open at 8, $5 at the door, 21 and up.
