Fire Fest Music Festival

More and more, you can’t deny that this Fire Fest is blowing up! In a good way of course. Seems like it’s all the buzz around town! It’s no wonder the festival has been a popular topic of conversation amongst you local Austinites. After all, there will be 20 bands, fire dancing, glass blowing, 20,000 water balloons, firework popping, bloody marys, bazaar shopping, local food trucks, and you get to camp! The cherry on top of this unique fest is that it will be hosted by the one and only BP Fallon.

BP Fallon is awesome! He wears many hats, including a physical bolo hat, he’s also a performer, DJ, photographer, writer & broadcaster. He hosts a weekly web radio show called Wang Dang Doodle, and had this to say about FireFest, “You have things like the Austin City Limits festival in October with Jack White and Neil Young And Crazy Horse and The Stooges, brilliant lineup. Fire Fest is great too but different in that it’s a summer celebration of local Austin bands all on the up and all collected together for one day only. Everyone knows everyone, it’s very communal, the young bands in the Austin music scene. And it’s only $25.″ He also recently released his first record, produced by Jack White who plays a sexy bottleneck guitar in his single “I Believe in Elvis Presley.” He lives and breathes rock n roll, and to prove it, he once played the tom toms with Led Zeppelin live. You can’t beat that folks; he is destined to be a great host at Fire Fest.
