For all you psychedelic funky cats out there, we have a band that will for sure get you up and groovin’. And guess what? They were bred right here in our very own Austin, Texas. Christian Bland gained popularity in 2004 with another band called The Black Angels, and started Christian Bland & The Revelators in 2007 as a side project. Do512 has had the pleasure of having Christian Bland play at our very own lounge with The Black Angels.

Christian Bland & The Revelators has a different sound than The Black Angels. It has more of a dark and psychedelic feeling to it. The tone of the guitar is what really gives them a distinct old school sound. Christian Bland & The Revelators has had much success in recent years with the release of their latest album, The Lost Album, and playing at shows during SXSW and Austin Psych Fest.
