Calling all SINGERS for the Round Rock Express Music City Showdown

Think you can sing? There must be someone you know that can sing or maybe you yourself were blessed with wonderful vocal talent. If either are the case, then you won’t want to miss a once and a lifetime shot at the stage for the Round Rock Express Music City Showdown. This is a two part mini American Idol if you will. The first contest which you can sign up for here, consists of 12 selected semifinalists competing live in front of a judging panel at The Stage on Sixth on Thursday, August 16th. Based on your vocal abilities and showmanship, four finalists will go on to compete at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock on Thursday, August 23 immediately following the game between The Express and Nashville Sounds.

Music City Showdown

One grand prize winner will receive a trip to Nashville to perform live in a showcase at The Stage on Broadway with one guest. There the winner will also enjoy a Music City welcome gift bag, Music City Backstage Pass and a chance to win a music publishing contract with Lawrence Music Group. This is a pretty sweet deal. Not only do you get to expose your talents to potentially thousands, but you get to do so at world famous venues.
