Do you like to party? I’m sorry, what kind of question is that, of course you do. Next weekend, you’ll be able to do it two nights in a row over at the Beauty Ballroom!

Next Friday, September 21, you can start the weekend off right with some Action Bronson, one of the best rappers in the game right now. Knuckle Rumbler has brought him back to Austin, which means you all get a chance to spend the night with one of the fattest (literally and figuratively) rappers around. This Queens rapper has just signed to Warner Bros. Records off the strength of his last few mixtapes, especially this year’s kickass Blue Chips and last year’s Dr. Lecter. He’s been on tracks with members of Odd Future, but his style has been compared Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah, which might be the highest compliment ever. To top it all off though, he’s obsessed with food, rapping about it on almost every track. So yeah, it’s awesome. Anyone who is a fan of good rap music needs to get down to Beauty Balroom Friday night if they know what’s good for them.

Playing with Action Bronson is Austin’s own Applied Pressure and local rapper Dubb Sicks. The show is 18 and over, so make sure to head on over on September 21st!

The next night, Saturday, September 22, Beauty Balroom is hosting Rock The Casbah with Austin’s own DJ Mel! It’s basically going to be a crazy dance party with one of the best DJs in Texas. His credentials are impressive too, as he’s won Best of Austin awards for most of the past decade for being the best DJ in the city, and has played some big festivals like Lollapalooza. Even Z-Trip has called him “one of the few DJ’s I know who can hang with my crazy ass”, so you know he’s doing something right. It’s going to be an insane dance party that you’ll to need to come to.

Head over to “Like” these pages for both the Action Bronson show and the DJ Mel party for a chance to win a pair of free tickets. You know you want to.
