One of the most intriguing activities in Austin is to explore the nightlife. To find that one of a kind spot that you and your friends can call your weekend home. Whether it’s because of the drinks, the atmosphere, or some other unique factor, everyone wants to find that one place to escape the troubles of the week. Haven is one of those places, and this weekend, that is the nightclub to hit up.
Haven will be presenting Quantum, this Friday, October 12. What does that even mean, you wonder? Well, it’s a multimedia event suited for those who want to have a Friday night club experience that breaks the norm. Quantum will feature live body painters, art, music, and of course, some tasty drinks. Some artists set to get the creative juices flowing include Guy Juke, Michael Carpenter, Christopher Morphis, and Courtney Gibson. There will also be a performance by Sangre Del Sol. And for those who’ve never heard of this group, you’re in for a performance that’ll make you feel the heat. Literally. This group performs dances…WITH FIRE. Can you say, muy caliente?
And let’s not leave without talking about the music that’s sure to get those nightlife vibes pumping. DJ Zane Milan will get your body moving in the main room of Haven, while DJ Koma takes over the patio. Quantum will also feature the progressive rock band, Component. A matter of weeks ago, this band blew off the roof at The Belmont here in ATX, with a performance that goes hand in hand with the uniqueness of their sound. By blending a mix of rock, metal, and electronic dance, this band takes originality to another level musically along with their lyrics. According to the band’s website, their lyrical content is influenced by various sciences and creative fields like literary works and biology. So now you can experience a great Friday night out on the town and get educated at the same time!
So come out this Friday, October 12th for Quantum at Haven. The fun starts at 9pm, and there’s a $5 admission. So grab your friends and get ready to hit the town!
