I’ve decided that the more nicknames you have the bigger of a deal you are. This definitely rings true for the RZArector who is a Grammy award winning music producer, author, rapper, actor, director, and screenwriter. In addition to being the de facto leader for Wu-Tang, one of the most influential hip-hop bands of the 90′s, his expertise has been sought out by the film industry. The Prince Rakeem produced the score for Afrosamuri, The Man With The Iron Fists, and Kill Bill.
Rza‘s style is hard to define in that he picks up a different alias for whatever lyrical style or new project he takes on. In his Bobby Digital era he picked up synthesizers and used music from vintage video games to create his unique sound. As the Rzarector, Rza, became a pioneer with his band Gravediggaz into horrorcore.
Kanye West has even accredited the Abbott to being one of his primary musical influences. West is even quoted as saying that, “Wu-Tang had one of the biggest impacts as far as a movement. From slang to style of dress, skits, the samples. Similar to the [production] style I use, Rza has been doing that.” -MTV News
