Good work, good times, good music. You like to party and you probably like to help out a good cause. The time is now to Party With A Purpose at Soundcheck-Austin on Friday, November 9th. The Dell Children’s Surgical Global Outreach program has been working along with The Moore Pediatric Surgery Center, in partnership with The Shalom Foundation’s Guatemala City medical program to enable impoverished children to obtain access to surgical care. You can go out, listen to some great tunes, have a drink or three, and feel good about helping out such a great cause.
Party With a Purpose will allow you access to a pretty sweet silent auction, booze filled fun, and a live performance by Austin favorite, Vallejo. With 11 full length albums, this latin rock group has been delighting people’s ear drums with their talented and powerful sound for over a decade. Vallejo found a way to merge latin percussion flair with americana rock and roll and make their music into something seriously awesome. They jump on stage and away they go; dancing, singing, sweating, and looking so darn cute. Vallejo has finally released a new album in 2012, and after a two year break has come back better than ever.
Not ready to end the night after their show? That’s no problem, the after party will just be getting into full swing with DJ Manny spinning into the wee hours of the night. This party is not just a Friday night concert but a way to gather some amazing people, support an amazing cause, help children gain access to surgical needs, and have a good ole’ time while doing it all. Go ahead, gather your friends and get your tickets for Party with a Purpose. Do something good for those less fortunate while perusing the silent auction and listening to Vallejo and DJ Manny.
