Jimmy Stewart
Jimmy is a jolly, portly fellow with a taste for frozen, girly drinks and thai food. He is greatly loved by his peers, mostly because he gives them soup… and he makes a mean soup. Any kind of soup, broth, stew, porridge, bisque or chowder…you name it. He and his buddy Scott decided to start Do512 after a few drinks back in 2006, and that’s where the magic began. And whatnot.
Kristin Owen
Kristin Owen is awesome. If you don’t agree, she’ll likely tell you to “suck it”. She’s been with Do512 almost since the beginning, when she bought them a 6-pack in ’08. While some at Do512 call her the “fun police”, she likes to think of herself more as Mama Bear, doing the things and stuff that keep the engine running. The past three years have been a wild ride and she’s looking forward to serving you up more and more Austin goodness. Party Balls.
Lawrence Boone
Lawrence is the Editor of Do512. He was the first official employee, which means he’s been writing, promoting, and partying with Do512 since 2007. He also runs Covert Curiosity, one of the oldest music blogs in town. He created it way back in 2006 after seeing Ghostland Observatory and White Denim play a show together at Trophy’s, and wondered why no one was there. Lawrence enjoys cold beer, hot women, fast cars, football and fashion. He’s huge on fashion.
Rachel Daily
Rachel likes to impersonate fountains, hide from cameras, pretend she knows the rules of Texas Tech football and rage in the Goodwill Blue Hanger. (THAT PLACE IS AWESOME) She has a dog that reminds her to feed herself and go on regular walks named Zooey. She’s been running from wasps since the 80′s. She has been with Do512 since 2010 and has been trying to grasp the concept of what a monster ballad actually is since then. She likes puns so you should never be her friend or sit next to her at a party.
Amanda Shaftel
Amanda has an insatiable appetite for good live music and will talk about it incessantly until someone shoves a breakfast taco in her mouth. She likes those. She’ll most likely be the wildest dancer at the show, 10th row, center, so guard your drink from her unpredictable extremities (you’ve been warned). She also likes biking around, whiskey, festivals and other coolness. She does not appreciate arrogance. She is Do512′s very own product & marketing manager.
Jamie Jett
Jamie Jett totally digs camping, riding four-wheelers and drinking delicious beer while making new friends. She doesn’t like anything, but she loves everything, especially writing for the do512blog. She can cook a beast of a meal that is both delicious and high in nutrients. Her list of habits and vices is a long one that includes cigarettes, booze, caffeine, and geeking out online looking at other people’s awesomeness and getting insanely jealous. Her 7-year-old son thinks she laughs too much and that she’s weird, but he is 6 and lacks logic: “My mama, like, she hates the color pink and that’s weird cuz she’s a girl…that’s weird,” See? What kind of a basis is that? She mostly does awesome stuff and things for Do512Family.
Matt Bradshaw
Matt Bradshaw was born on the internet. He quickly learned the ways of the world through is education at Wikipedia University. He left his facebook family and friends to work in the great Do512 mines, digging for precious upcoming events to tell people about. You’ll find him at any of the Soul Dance parties in town, including the ones he DJ’s under the moniker Stereo Stepdad.
Valerie Lara
Valerie loves grapes, her cats, and most of all acting. She supports local theater and film both on and off the stage/camera. Her favorite movie is Fight Club and her favorite band is virtually impossible to nail. (Not an actual band name or band, but doesn’t it have a nice ring to it?) She hopes to one day start a band, but not really. Another interesting fact about her is that her initials spell VAL. This movie buff and actress knows the biz, and it is rough out there. Thankfully she can share is all through Do512.

Ashley Gregg
Ashley can be found sauntering around New York City enjoying the overabundance of music venues. She has red hair as fiery as her passion for good music, enjoys a classy drink of Bailey’s on the rocks and knows that it’s as embarrassing as it sounds, and consistently talks of her glory days as a native of Austin. When she’s not at concerts or over-sending music emails to friends, she can be found blogging her thoughts on bands and festivals on Do512.

Hilary Muskin
Hilary is a social media enthusiast. She prides herself as a born and raised Austinite. Hilary has been in Austin all of her life except for a brief four year period where she attended Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colorado. As a child Hilary always wanted to be a Princess, and her current life goal is to find some way to achieve her life long dream. For now Hilary settles with having Siri call her Princess Hilary until she can find her true Prince Charming.

Courtney Goforth
Courtney Goforth sat watching William in Almost Famous ride alongside bands as he chronicled their escapades and knew from that moment on music journalism was what she would pursue. She relies on her record player and her two cats, Monday and Floyd, to pull her out of a sour mood. She is happiest in warm weather with iced tea in her hand. She hopes people aren’t freaked out by her insane collection of owl figures and the fact she thinks all old people are absolutely adorable. Take her to see live music and you can do no wrong.

do you guys have an app?
We currently don’t have an app but we do have a mobile site! If you click the little square icon with the arrow coming out at the bottom of your mobile browser when you’re on our page, it will let you create a button for the screen of your phone. THen, it practically feels like an app!
Is there any way to see the events you’ve registered for on the mobile site – it seems a bit crippled in relation to the desktop version…
Hello,
I was wondering if you guys are offering any photo internships? Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Iconomopulos
