March 15th – You’re in the middle of the madness that constitutes SXSW. You’re tired of standing, waiting and trying to get around in the crowded streets. Every restaurant you go to has a 2-hour wait, and all you want is nutrients so you don’t collapse. This happens to us all at least once at SXSW – we’re hit with that mid-fest fatigue that feels so, so terrible. Free SX events are tons of fun, but require so much energy, and after a while, you’re endurance starts to fade, but . . .
What if we told you there was a party that’s able to transcend you beyond the bustling, smoky streets of SX and take you to . . . Willie Nelson’s “Luck, Texas” western town! Nelson’s acclaimed and serene western town will open to exclusive attendees on March 15th at 3pm for the Heartbreaker Banquet, presented by Electric Lady Studios and Robot Fondue, in association with John Varvatos.
Quite an extravagant and exclusive event, the Heartbreaker Banquet will showcase artists on 2 stages, one outdoor “Medicine show” stage and one acoustic stage inside the western town’s cute chapel. Decorations courtesy of Gypsy Sun Vintage will sprinkle the performance spaces with a vintage western feel, making the buildings warm, stylish and stress free. Attendees can replenish their bodies with complimentary beverages and delicious food from some of Austin’s best food-trucks.
The Heartbreaker Banquet will feature lively performances from Jonny Burke, Shovels & Rope, Jenny O., Phosphorescent, Daughter, Blitzen Trapper, Father John Misty, White Dress ft. Arum Rae and Gary Clark Jr. More names will be added, too, so stay tuned!
This is an awesome perk – ticketholders have the option and luxury of taking a private bus from a select number of Austin spots, directly to the venue. Additionally, guest parking will be available, and there will be a shuttle service from the lot to the venue, so you don’t have to become even more exhausted by walking!
This is a rarity amongst SXSW events – a banquet that will feed, entertain and relax you! The RSVP list is full…..for now…however you can watch for ticket giveaways on Do512 as well as Electric Lady’s Facebook and Twitter! Good luck!
