Badfish is not just a cover band. Their dedication to playing in tribute to ska/punk band Sublime is unyielding, and they have sold out shows for years like no other tribute band can. When Sublime broke up after the death of lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Brad Nowell in 1996, their legacy and sheer essence as a musical group was lost up until Badfish formed in 2001, channeling the soul of Sublime so genuinely and in such a heartfelt way, that they have managed to procure large followings of fans that tribute bands typically can’t acquire.
Badfish is one of the biggest club acts in the Midwest and Northeast, visiting prevalent music venues all over and most of the time selling them out. It’s safe to say they are one of the most recognized and loved tribute bands in the business. They channel the aura of Sublime through their own laid-back style, and their shows are known to be oodles of fun.
